Objectives and Scope of Position This role will manage the design & development of key RoME business processes and strategic solutions in collaboration with the RoME Product Owner. With a specific focus on Virtual Meetings and Digital Engagement you will provide subject matter expertise and deliver solutions that enhance the customers experience when participating in a Roche Meeting or event. As a member of the Strategic Initiatives group, this role will actively contribute to implement the EpiCX vision and Product Roadmap that drives organizational change to enhance customer experience and support improved patient outcomes. As an expert in Meetings and Events you will drive the development of the RoME ecosystem to deliver scalable, enterprise applicable solutions that meet the needs of a broad range of internal stakeholders and customers Provide company-wide business leadership and expertise on virtual, hybrid and in person meetings, events & engagements in collaboration with the RoME Business Lead, Head of Strategic Initiatives, other EpiCX product owners Brings event management industry trends to the product development team to increase the relevance and future relevance of the solutions delivered. Anticipates internal and external customer needs through the review, analysis and evaluation of Global and affiliate operating models, adapting development of the solution to changing future focused business priorities Drives collaboration & transparency of decision making to promote a culture of trust & co-creation with internal and external partners Cross functional Collaboration This role will require a high level of cross organisational collaboration Collaborating with affiliate, global and above country teams to engage them in the transition of legacy systems to the EpiCX ecosystem Collaboration across all product and service teams within the EpiCX program Collaborating with IT and our external strategic partners to deliver the business requirements Collaborating with other parts of the business who are providing resource to be part of the team that this role will lead within the matrix organisation in order to implement the platform and business processes Leadership This role will not manage direct line reports but will lead others within a matrix environment > 5 years experience of matrix leadership is therefore essential Healthcare and Pharmacovigilance Compliance Assess, Interpret and translate Regulatory, Legal, Safety and Compliance policy to drive harmonised business process creation Is responsible for acting in line with legal, regulatory and company standards and codes of practice (such as Roche Code of Conduct and any other Roche directives and guidelines) Professional and Technical Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience working in the Meetings and Events arena - experience in affiliate specific meeting and event business processes and working practice is highly desirable Proven knowledge on existing digital tools and platforms (e.g.cVent, Zoom, Kaltura, CRMs - IQVIA/Veeva, Content Asset Management) Experience partnering with technology partners and global technology teams Experience in working with Agile/Safe methodologies Experience in overseeing, managing and mobilizing - when needed - decentralized networks Deep understanding of business-led technology-driven, complex, and large scale customer engagement ecosystems Ability to make decisions independently Excellent organizational skills and systemic thinking Ability to work in a changing and evolving environment Strong communication skills This role is not location specific, nevertheless you will be expected to work on a European timezone.
