Manager - Orphoz

Qualifications Degree from a major engineering or business school with high strong record achievements  8+ years of experience, including 5+ years at a consulting firm Capable of viewing an organization holistically, deep and comprehensive understanding of the challenges and needs of your clients.  Pragmatic and demonstrate great success as part of major transformation projects Fluent in English, both speaking and writing, ideally combined with German and/or French Who You'll Work With Switzerland will be your base office (Zurich or Genève) and you will work closely with McKinsey client team leaders and their clients. You’ll also partner with our growing Orphoz teams across Europe. You will work with Orphoz, a professional services firm fully owned by McKinsey and Company, that helps leading private-sector organisations execute transformation programs in a time of accelerated change. We turn strategy into practice, with a focus on transforming and upgrading operational models using agile, efficient, and highly engaging methods that work on the ground rather than just looking good on paper. Our work is broad, encompassing topics such as operational excellence, lean management (manufacturing, service, or IT), supply-chain management, digital transformation, purchasing, shared-service-centre implementation and wider process improvement. What You'll Do You will support our clients on site as well as in direct contact with the teams over the course of their projects, having a big impact on their digitalization, transformation, reorganization, etc.  In this role you will coordinate complex assignments and supervise teams by developing the talents of our consultants and clients, while contributing to the life, influence, and development of the firm.  You will apply your leadership to support the growth of the firm on a human scale. You will also demonstrate empathy and good listening skills to everyone involved in the project: colleagues, managers, operational staff, and any McKinsey teams involved.
