As a member of the Operational Excellence - Sales Operations team, you would contribute to the design and operationalization of our key performance indicator systems' and incentive schemes' foundations. We have a direct influence on how thousands of our account management employees create additional value for our partners and drive company performance!What You'll do:As your primary area of expertise (expected 60-75%), ensure effective sales territories / portfolio planning and updates for our global supply side Account Management team (starting with a focus on Vrbo). This includes the quarterly execution of the currently existing process, but also future logic adjustments to adapt to the needs of our stakeholders and possibly introducing new customization options. In addition, core parts of the process are expected to be migrated to Jupyterhub in the upcoming year.In addition (expected 25-40%), you would be supporting the team with other activities in our scope, with one potential candidate being the quarterly incentive calculations & exceptions process for the Vrbo Account Management team.Be fully responsible for the timely and accurate execution of your tasks and processes, tackle unique challenges and problems with limited support.Control for any data issues and find resolutions with all global teams involved.Continuously look for improvement opportunities for the tools / reports we own and for ways to further automate / simplify our processes.Partner with Account Management leaders globally to understand their needs and assumptions (respective to your field), in order to provide guidance and deliver new solutions.Be in regular contact with and provide support (answering questions, solving or triaging problems typically via email, JIRA or Slack) to a large group of internal customers. This includes people across multiple hierarchy levels - starting from junior people managers to senior management.Build new reports (Tableau), develop, update and help with the delivery of training materials and documentation.Who you are:Graduate with a bachelor's or a master's degree in a field such as Economics, Business, Analytics or similar, currently looking for a professional position that is open at the level for fresh graduates or candidates at early stages of their careerSelf-standing and independent, motivated by challenges to overcomeLogical, analytical, thorough with a clear attention to details, always making sure your objectives are delivered to a very high standard - even under stress and with tight delivery datesAble to see the bigger picture whilst not missing the detailsCan easily connect with colleagues in a large organization to find answers and resolve problems, across geographies and time zones and in a matrixed environmentEnjoy to frequently communicate with (both in written form and orally) and help colleagues - potentially with experience in an operations environmentA candidate with experience in manipulating data in Excel (including functions), intermediate level of SQL (using SQL Server / Teradata / Qubole (Presto / Spark)).
