What will you do

We are seeking an organized, and self-motivated Senior Specialist, Content & Campaign Marketing – Brand Campaigns to join our global Brand squad. As part of a small, agile team that drives the overarching brand strategy and brand campaign, this role plays a key part in shaping how the Johnson Controls brand shows up.

In this execution-focused role, you will lead the planning, creation, and deployment of content that amplifies the Johnson Controls brand. You bring a disciplined approach to campaign delivery—balancing creativity with operational precision. Whether developing content independently or collaborating with internal creative teams and external agencies, you ensure our content is purposeful, on-brand, and aligned with campaign goals.

How will you do it

Content Planning & Strategy

  • Translate brand and campaign strategy into clear, actionable content deliverables.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to shape campaign narratives and define content formats, channels, and timelines.

  • Build and manage a content calendar that aligns with campaign milestones and audience engagement goals.

  • Ensure content plans are rooted in competitive and audience insights and support broader marketing and business objectives.

  • Content Creation

  • Actively contribute to content production—writing, editing, and designing assets when needed to meet deadlines or fill gaps.

  • Ensure all content is aligned with brand guidelines and tailored for specific platforms and audiences.

  • Lead the development of content by briefing and guiding creative partners. Collaborate internal creative teams to bring campaign stories to life across formats.

  • Activation, reporting & performance optimization

  • Coordinate the rollout of content across internal and external channels, ensuring timely and consistent delivery.

  • Collaborate with global marketing squads and geos to provide them with the latest and greatest assets, as well as facilitate localizations and translation needs.

  • Track performance in collaboration with squad team members and Centers of Excellence (COEs), using insights to refine content and improve future campaigns.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to optimize content based on data, feedback, and evolving campaign needs.

  • What we look for

    Required

  • Advanced English fluency ideally to a native level English, with exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.

  • Demonstrated experience working on brand campaigns, with a strong portfolio of content that supports brand storytelling and positioning.

  • 5+ years of experience in content marketing, preferably within a global or matrixed organization.

  • Experience managing creative agencies and producing content independently.

  • Proficiency in content creation tools and analytics platforms.

  • Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications or related field.

  • Familiarity with HVAC, energy, automation, or smart building technologies.
