Wearelookingfor a Systems Engineer toworkcloselywith an Incident Response/SecOpssalesrepresentative in a definedterritory. The Systems Engineer'smainmission will beto support thesalesorganization in all technicalmattersrelatedtomonitoring, detecting, and reportingsecuritythreatsprovidingpre-salesexpertise, salescalls, and post-sales.
With usyou will
Lead all technicalaspectsof a salescycle, leveragesecurityplatforms such asFortiSOAR, FortiSIEM, FortiAnalyzer, FortiEDR/NDR, FortiClientwiththe Enterprise customers, fromthe initial RFIs, throughto RFPs & RFQs whenrequired. This includestheprojectmanagement and activeparticipation in POCs in partnershipwiththe relevant teamsbothinternally and withinthecustomer and/orcommercialpartner.
Havetheabilityto listen and tounderstandthetechnicalrequirementsofthecustomer, readingbetweenthelinestobuild a solutionwhichoutperformsthecompetitoroffering.
Be theprimarytechnicalpointofcontactforthecustomer(s) and partners in closecollaborationwithyoursalespartner.
Continuouslystrivetoimproveknowledgearoundthe Fortinet products and solutions, alongwithmaintaining a deepunderstandingofthecompetitivelandscape and Fortinet’sabilitytoprovidelonglastingprotectionagainsttheever-evolvingthreats.
Have a strong abilitytoposition Fortinet solutionstothecustomer, whetherthisberemotelyor in person. This requires strong communication skills and theabilitytoconfidentlypresentthroughwhiteboarding, technicalwhitepapers, technicalplansorcustomerdiscussions.
Manage your time effectivelywhenworking on multiple dealssimultaneously, ensuring a positive customerexperienceismaintained.
Maintainaccurateactivity, contact, and accounttechnicalinformationof all customers and prospects in our CRM (Salesforce).
Applyifyou
Have a high aptitudeforsecuritytechnology, specificallyencryption, authentication, withfurtherknowledgeof network security, intrusiondetection, anti-virus, routing, switching, LAN and WAN beingdesirable. The CISSP accreditationwould also bebeneficial.
Are currentlyorhavepreviouslyworked in a pre-salesengineerrole, managing end to end technicalaspectsofdeals, throughtotechnicalclosure.
Can demonstrateyourproblemsolvingskills and howthishasimpactedkeywinswithinyourcurrentorganisation.
Understand and can demonstrateyourabilitytobuild and maintaincustomerrelationships, includingyourabilitytoeffectivelycommunicatetechnicallyto a rangeofboth external and internal stakeholders.
Have a strong understandingof RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES
Provenexperience in a presales, solutionengineering, orsecurityconsultingrolewith a focus on operations
Solid knowledgeof Security Operations Center (SOC) environments and relatedtechnologies.
Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability toaligntechnicalsolutionswithcustomerbusinessobjectives
Relevant cybersecuritycertifications (e.g., CISSP, GCIA, GCIH, orvendor-specificcredentials) arehighlydesirable
