Aufgabenprofil

We are looking for a head of our ambitious international sales team. If you are a passionate sales person (m/f/d) who always strives to exceed your own achievements, then you have found the right partner! With our robot HORST, you will introduce an impressive product to a market that offers an extremely high degree of sales potential.

This is your area of responsibility: 

  • You map out and monitor a go to market strategy, cost and revenue budget as well as resource planning in European countries according to the country specific requirements and conditions
  • As we strive for a personal and trusting relationship with our partners, you will regularly be on site with the customer and partner in person. You don't mind spending several days in hotels and even crossing country boarders (approx. 80% on site meetings/ 20% digital administrative work)
  • You set-up and develop an international sales, marketing and service strategy and the processes required to achieve a successful implementation
  • You are in charge of new business development - development of new business areas and sales channels as well as expansion of the existing channels
  • You are creating KPI frameworks and tools in order to steer a data-driven approach to partner selection
  • You regularly analyze the market and competitor situation and derive the appropriate strategy for the respective foreign market from your conclusions
  • You analyze and collect best practices and benchmarks for partner performance to optimize our operations
  • You build strategic partnerships with potential distributors within the relevant industries
  • In close collaboration with our marketing team you plan and implement sales and marketing campaigns suitable and promising for the individual market
  • You acquire, train and manage distributors
  • You are the representative at foreign trade shows and conferences
  • You put a special focus on our key customers and continuously develop the business in close cooperation with them
  • In coordination with the management of the German market, you develop our CRM/ERP software and make sure that our way of working is always state-of-the-art

 

Anforderungsprofil

  • You have completed a degree in a technical field or completed professional training in a relevant field and have extensive professional experience in sales of products that require technical explanation
  • You have a proven track record of  B2B sales and marketing activities with an international and/or global scope
  • You also have extensive experience in the automation industry in the field of robotics and/or mechanical components
  • You bring a broad international network in automation industry with good reputation as thought leader and reliable solution provider
  • You provide the perfect combination of practical and strategic thinking, with a strong hands-on mentality and highly self-driven, out of the box approach
  • You are familiar with the challenges of a fast-growing environment and know exactly what actions you can take to drive further growth
  • Regular business trips are a welcome change from everyday business life
  • First experience in a leadership position is beneficial
  • You have fluent English skills, both written and spoken. German language skills are beneficial
